The portrait was revealed at the Eagles Square during the 2024 Democracy Day celebration parade.

The project was announced at the 2024 Democracy Day event, initiated by the Artefact Gallery, Best Theatre Company, and the National Council for Arts and Culture.

The portrait of President Tinubu is said to be the world’s largest painting portrait on canvas.
